we are seeing more and more tank hitting the markets that "claim" tp have extended life spands for the coils. The first out was the ALTUS I have seen and used it and to be honest I didn't like it as much as I thought that I would. While it seems like a great idea and it truely is, There is a huge ramp up time that goes along with the chip and it is best used with a device with Temperature Control. Second....with a hefty price ta of $115.00, not many are willing to lay that much cash down on an item with litt;e to no review or history.
SOoooo Fast forward to this week and Horizon Tech who has made amazing tanks we all know and love like the Arctic, The Phantom, the Spartan etc...horizon is releasing the KRIXUS Tank. a re-wickable tank that uses the latest in ceramic coils The ceramic is injected with tungsten and sandwich the tungsten with more ceramic, push it all together and bake until it reaches 1600 degrees. So what does this all mean to you??? The claim is a coil that lasts 6 months and all that needs to be replaced is the cotton around the ceramic. The Krixus holds 4ml of e-liquids comes with spare parts and pre-cut Japanese cotton that will fit around the coil. Can be use from 60-120watts and .3 - .1ohms.
